Privacy policy

SagaKeep is run by FosterLabs in New Zealand. This policy explains what we collect when you use savetracker.fosterlabs.nz and the SagaKeep app, and what we do with it. We follow the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

What we collect

• Account details: your email address and a password. Passwords are hashed by our authentication provider. We never see or store them in plain text.
• Profile: the username, display name and avatar you choose.
• What you track: the saves, characters, builds, households, relationships, notes and images you add to the app.
• Technical data: standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) kept by our hosting providers for security and reliability.

How we use it

We use your information only to run SagaKeep: to sign you in, store and show your saves, send account emails such as verification and password resets, and keep the service secure. We don’t sell your data, show ads or use it to build advertising profiles.

Cookies

The app uses a cookie to keep you signed in. We don’t use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Who stores it

• Supabase: database, authentication and file storage, hosted in Sydney, Australia.
• Vercel: website and app hosting.

These providers process data on our behalf and only as needed to provide their services.

Public saves

Saves are private by default. If you choose to share a save, anyone with the link can see that save’s contents and your username.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information at any time. Email hello.fosterlabs@gmail.com and we’ll respond within 20 working days. Deleting your account removes your profile and all of your saves.

Changes

If we make significant changes to this policy, we’ll update the date above and let account holders know.
